St. Paul, Minnesota - Brad Schloesser, Dean of the Southern Minnesota Center of Agriculture, testified on behalf of legistation for a Veterans to Agriculture program that would operate through the Southern Minnesota Center of Agriculture in conjunction with South Central College. The funding would be for a pilot program, taking place at South Central College, for training for veterans in 4-8 week programs specific to the agriculture industry workforce needs. 

Senate File 653, was laid over as amnded for possible inclusion in the omnibous budget bill.
