SWP2North Mankato, Minnesota - A 2014 Summer Course in Swine Records and Analysis still has seats open for those interested in furthering their education in the swine industry. The course runs June 10th through July 31st and is taught completely online.

The class covers many aspects that a swine operation would encounter. Topics such as record use to maintain efficient productivity, computerized record systems such as PigChamp and Pigcare, factors that impact obtaining business production goals, feed inventory control, labor and production schedules, financial reports and facility inventory management will be covered as part of this course.

Classes are taught online by Pete Neigebauer, instructor at South Central College, and are open to anyone. Classes can be used towards credit for the Professional Swine Manager Education Program through the National Pork Board, and prepare you for the Certified Swine Manager exam.
